Sierra DeMarree, DMD
Dr. DeMarree was born and raised in Sodus. She completed her undergraduate education at the University at Albany in 3 years and graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree at the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University. She also completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Rochester Strong Memorial Hospital. Dr. DeMarree has known that she has wanted to be a dentist since she was 9 years old when she broke her front teeth on the pool deck at a Girl Scout lock-in at the Sodus School pool. She has spent her whole life in the pursuit of giving patients a sense of relief from discomfort and improving their smiles. Because, who knows, they may be inspired to go into the dental field just like she did! Outside of dentistry, Dr. DeMarree loves to spend her time doing outdoor hobbies. She is an avid archer and hunter, a hiker and a camper.
Her favorite hobby is rock climbing. Not only does she love the mountains and the woods, she grew up right on the shores of Lake Ontario. She loves swimming and boating and collects beach glass, yooperlite rocks, and seashells. Dr. DeMarree enjoys collecting uranium and cadmium glass and has a pretty big collection! Dr. DeMarree also has 2 rescue dogs, a beagle-blue heeler named Rosie and a red tick coonhound-lab mix named Miles who love to keep her on her toes! Dr. DeMarree’s favorite thing about Sodus is how the whole community has supported her for her whole life!
